Jackie Kruszewski's 826DC 2010 Moustache-a-Thon

I will write you your own personalized limerick if you donate.

There once was a girl named Al
Who loved to eat veggies locale
she planted like a fiend,
weeds carefully weaned
then she cooked like a femme fatale

There once was a boy named Chad
who looked like an Irish lad
but MIA made a vid
where red-heads are forbid
now gingers are quite the fad!

(a haiku) wandering Rachel,
seeks only what can't be found
loves only what's real

There once was a girl named Anna
whose sis lived in a mud cabana
Anna studied eugenics,
practiced ACL calisthenics
and she dreamt of going italiana

There once was a girl named A-Pen
Beloved in the hearts of all men
She'd bake them a pie,
Twist hair and sigh,
Then she'd leave them for law books and Finn.

There once was a boy named Josh
(which ironically rhymes with posh)
he drank tea by the pot
wrote code a lot
loved technology that makes you say 'Gosh!'

(special request for iambic pentameter)
There was a boy Andrew that was his name
He practiced drills and shaved his head all lame
But off he goes to sand and wind and war
Because he found that Gladwell book a bore

(someone I've never met donated; information culled from facebook)
There once was a boy named Aaron
full of bleeding heart liberal carin'
He dabbles in 'staches,
wears spandex that clashes
Then eats hot dogs till all plates are barren

There once was a girl named Katherine
who liked to score goals on a backspin,
She worked in an annex,
went on epic hiking treks
And had a solid cadre of kin

There once was a girl named le Bahr
who lived LA life from afar
Mademoiselle bon vivant,
breathed style like a savant,
wrote of couture and film like a star

(for another Jackie)

There once was a girl named Jackie
who knew how to keep things wacky
in rugby she thrilled
in tackles she killed
I never once saw her wear khaki

There once was a mother named Patty
With kids that were so far from bratty
She wrote only Good News
paid Chamber dues
Then she'd throw back a stout and get chatty
(love you, Mom!)

There once was a boy named Jesse
By day he kept it dressy
But after work he'd smash
baseballs, in hats that clash
And his bike spandex never got messy.

There once was a girl named Erin
With the grace of a New Orleans heron
Except for some sporadic bike crashes
From media leak to presser she dahses
With music taste impeccable for sharin'

There once was a girl named Katie
Who roamed Costa Rica with her matey
With dramatis personae aplenty
Cristol for Congress in '20!
If she can only pass stats with an 80...

There once was a sister named Leah
who lived in onomatopoeia
her fingers could play
flamenco all day
And the sound was a daily panacea

There once was a girl named Reeves
who took pretty pictures of leaves
she drank her diet sodas cooled,
and intellectual property ruled,
Knew law like she kept some pensieves

There once was a boy named Dan
who was solar power's biggest fan
with Brit-cred he'd charm
with fennel salad he'd disarm
then he'd discuss war and women and Man
